Narasimha Rao made his directorial debut in 1980 with the Telugu film Chandamama. It was a family drama. But the release of the film was delayed and was not screened until the year 1982. His second, third and fourth films, Nenu Maa Avida, Evandoi Sreemathigaru, and Illantha Sandadi, were all successful comedies and he earned a reputation for directing low-budget clean comedies. The films also incidentally started a successful collaboration with the actor Chandra Mohan with whom he went on to direct a total of 18 films. He has also worked with icons like Akkineni Nageswara Rao (Dagudumuthala Dampathyam, 1990), Sobhan Babu (Samsaaram,1988), and Krishnam Raju (Yama Dharma Raju, 1990).
Narasimha Rao teamed up with the comedy actor Rajendra Prasad for 32 films, including hits like Gundammagari Krishnulu, Dabbevariki Chedu, Chinnodu Peddodu, Mama Alludu, Iddaru Pellala Muddula Police and Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam.
He also directed Several Kannada and Tamil films. So far he has directed 75 films.
L. B. Sriram is an Indian film character actor, comedian, dialogue writer, screenwriter, producer, and thespian known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu drama. He made his silver screen debut with April 1st Vidudhala (1991).
He owns the production house Life Beautiful Creations. Rajesh Touchriver is an Indian filmmaker, production designer and scriptwriter. He has won several state awards, national and international awards for his feature films, documentaries and short films. He worked with the National School of Drama, New Delhi as a designer in 1995. By the year 1998, he had directed more than 30 plays in Malayalam, English and Telugu languages. Rajesh won the Charles Wallace Trust Award in 2001 and pursued his Masters in Visual Language/Scenography and Direction from the Wimbledon College of Art, London.
In 2002 he directed In the Name of Buddha which was later screened in the Spotlight on India section at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, he directed Na Bangaaru Talli which won four Nandi awards (from the state of Andhra Pradesh), the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, Best Music Direction (Background Score), and five international awards.
Praveen Mangalath has a strong passion for the silver screen since his childhood. As a stepping stone to the visual media, he did his master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Calicut in Kerala.
He joined the film editing course at the FTII during his tenure at the Kerala State Revenue Department. An innate sense of rhythm and a flair for music coupled with sound technological know-how helped him become an editor both creative and competent.
Thus at the end of his FTII sojourn, Praveen was called into edit not just one, but four diplomas in his name. His love for the FTII that brought out the professional in him prompted him to serve the institute as a Guest Faculty with the Editing Department for a year after completing the course.
After a brief stint as an Associate Editor at Aamir Khan Productions in 2007 [for the movie Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na] , he left for Dubai to work with Tensports as Senior Promo Producer for eight years.
Now back in Kerala, he has already edited five films in Malayalam industry and various documentaries and short films made by professionals in Mumbai and Kerala.
Currently he is working with a Malayalam film project directed by national award winner Shri Rajeev Nath.
Shafi is an Indian film actor known for his works in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, and Hindi cinema.
